I am a Toronto-based photographer with a focus on street and documentary photography. My perspective and technique have developed through courses, workshops and collaborations with a variety of dedicated and talented photographers.
Image Galleries On the Street, Street Portraits and The Commute examine the relationships between people and their environments - both artificial and natural. Toronto has a vibrant street life that offers vast opportunities for exploration.
Image Galleries Water's Edge - B&W and Water's Edge - Colour showcase my interest in the intersection of created and natural environments, as exemplified by the landscapes along the Toronto waterfront.
Documentary work focuses largely on social issues. PATH is an exploration of wealth disparity, consumerism, social isolation and the pace of urban life as exemplified within the encapsulated environment of Toronto's underground complex of walkways and shopping arcades.
Mar. 2019 - I was recently featured in a short video on Toronto Street photographers along with fellow photographer Dave Bottoms. This is the first in a series on Toronto street photography produced by videographers Eddy Cheng and Lucas Romanenko. There are plans to extend the video by including discussions on methodology and our respective artistic visions. The video can be viewed here.
